Goodbye

I don't actually know how many people visit this site. It was my first site with html so I was quite proud of it but as you will probably realise I haven't updated in a long time.
I don't know, I just don't feel like I have anything to add to it. Sure I can write more fics and make more arts but I don't have to show them off to everyone to appreciate
them. I'll post any fanfics I write on the internet (like on Pages of True Love etc). I didn't actually believe that I was going to close this any time soon. I was thinking of
re-designing it soon. But, being the eternal procrastinator that I am, I've been working on my other site. I also just don't feel like making any type of site that isn't personal.
I want a space where I can write and share digital art that I've made etc but that's about it.
I read something written by Sammie about how she got addicted to the internet. It struck a little close to home. I guess that I have become more secluded since I became, maybe not addicted but, infatuated with the internet.
January 2002 I was at home for the end of the holiday. Since I was supposed to be doing my IT coursework I was often left alone in the house on the computer. I came across the Dawson's Creek official messageboard. Somehow I got so involved with that that I was online for at least 3 hours a day. I'm weak.
Anyway, after the holidays things HAD to slow down. But as absent as the internet was from my life I still wanted to go on more and more. Anyway, things aren't as bad as they
were just after new year but there are days where I am online for pathetic amounts of time that are actually unhealthy. Reading Sammie's goodbye made me really want to
start living outside. So I've decided to stop going online so much. I'm going to finish off my blog site, you know, complete pages, and once that's been done I'm just going
to blog. I've applied for two fanlistings but I don't know how long I'll have to wait so I guess I can wait for those now. On messageboards I'm going to cut it down to the ones
that I have a responsibility to: Role Play boards. And once I've finished those off I'm going to not join anymore. I haven't lost any friends but I need exercise and I need to
get a tan and immerse myself in the real world. This sounds pretty drastic but I think otherwise I will go and become addicted. I'm not going to change my e-mail address or anything but I'm going to keep my msn messenger time to a minimum and the same goes with what I do on the internet.
So, now I am going to go and play tennis with my little brother and close this website.
